Turning old memories into new money is easy with Encore Online Resale.
Let our experts take the work out of selling online for you. From start to finish, we manage the entire process to help you get top dollar for your items with little to no effort on your part.
Step 1: Drop it Off.
Stop by our store with an item you’d like to sell (you can also call or email us if you prefer). Our experienced staff can conduct some quick online research at no charge to you to help estimate its value. If your item meets a minimum online resale value, our store staff will work with you to capture any key copy points you’d like to make in your eBay listing. Once you’re checked in, we place the item in our inventory and give you a receipt. Then we get to work photographing and listing your item.
Step 2: Watch the Action.
Once we’ve listed your item, we’ll send you an email with a link to the listing, so that you can watch all the action as it occurs. Many of our sellers tell us this part is almost as fun as getting their final check!
Step 3: Receive Your Check.
After the item sells, we collect payment and professionally ship your item to the winning bidder. Once the transaction is complete, we send you a check. Or, if you prefer, we can send the proceeds to your favorite charity.
For a typical sale, the entire process typically takes about 4-6 weeks, depending how quickly the buyer pays us.
We Accept Items That:
- Have good resale value (at least $75) and a recent track record of selling well on eBay. Item research is always free!!
- Have been cleaned and are in good shape.
- Are legal to sell. We do not handle adult items, alcohol, firearms, ivory or other restricted materials.
We all want you to get the highest possible price. We work hard to present your item in the best possible way in our listings. Here are some tips that can help get the most from your auction.
Original packaging, manuals, instruction, reciepts, appraisals, accessories — anything at all that you still have that came with the item — is almost always helpful in driving up its final price. Before you bring your items in, take a few minutes to find all the related materials you can.
Flaws and Defects
Most of the items we sell are used, and buyers expect them to have some flaws and defects that are disclosed in the listing. In fact, many buyers are wary of purchasing “perfect” items which are not new. If you know of any flaw or defect in your item, please tell us about it when you check in. If you do not, chances are we will both end up with a return from the buyer, resulting in a non-sale for you.
Make It Shine!
A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is certainly true on eBay. While we are more than happy to wipe off a little dust or a few smudges, we are not equipped to clean, polish or in any other way restore your item to its best possible appearance. Take a minute or two before you bring in your item to clean it up and really make it shine.
