How it Works

Encore Online Resale makes selling on eBay easy. We do all of the work.header1.jpg

Turning old memories into new money is easy with Encore Online Resale.

Let our experts take the work out of selling online for you. From start to finish, we manage the entire process to help you get top dollar for your items with little to no effort on your part.

Step 1: Contact Us.
Call (734-761-6187) or email us with item(s) you’d like to sell. Be sure to include brand/model information and any history or special information that might assist in our research. We will do some free research on recent sales to estimate its resale value. If your item meets our minimum value, we will arrange an appointment for you to drop off the item (or to pick up from your home if that's easier for you). If needed, we will capture any key copy points you’d like to include in your eBay listing. We will give you a receipt for your item and enter the item in our inventory system. Then we get to work photographing and listing your item.

Step 2: Watch the Action.
Once we’ve listed your item, we’ll send you an email with a link to the listing, so that you can watch all the action as it occurs. Especially for auctions, many of our sellers tell us this part is almost as fun as getting their final check!

Step 3: Receive Your Check.
After the item sells, we collect payment and professionally ship your item to the winning bidder. Once the transaction is complete, we send you a check. Or, if you prefer, we can send the proceeds to your favorite charity.

For a typical sale, the entire process typically takes about 6-8 weeks, depending how quickly the buyer pays us.

We Accept Items That:

- Have good resale value (typically at least $75), are easy to ship (think smaller than a microwave) and have a recent track record of selling well on eBay. Item research is always free!!

- Have been cleaned and are in good condition, working, and complete.

- Are legal to sell. We do not handle adult items, alcohol, firearms, ivory or other restricted materials.

We all want you to get the highest possible price. We work hard to present your item in the best possible way in our listings. Here are some tips that can help get the most from your sale.

Documentation
Original packaging, manuals, instruction, receipts, appraisals, accessories — anything at all that you still have that came with the item — is almost always helpful in driving up its final price. Before you bring your items in, take a few minutes to find all the related materials you can.

Flaws and Defects
Most of the items we sell are used, and buyers expect them to have some flaws and defects (we always disclose these in the listing, if known). In fact, many buyers are wary of purchasing “perfect” items which are not new. If you know of any flaw or defect in your item, please tell us about it when you check in. If you do not, chances are we will both end up with a return from the buyer, resulting in a non-sale for you.

Make It Shine!
A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is certainly true on eBay. While we are more than happy to wipe off a little dust or a few smudges, we are not equipped to clean, polish or in any other way restore your item to its best possible appearance. Take a minute or two before you bring in your item to clean it up and really make it shine.
